I've been an author for more than thirty years, and had many text books published with established companies, like Macmillan, Open University Press and Jessica Kingsley. Having taken early retirement, I spent five years fulfilling a long-cherished ambition of writing a novel. Getting a novel published these recession-hit days is more difficult than winning the lottery, so I decided to publish it myself. I chose Direct - POD to print the novel.
